Rachel Chandler is a physician assistant specializing in foot and ankle orthopaedics at Cary Orthopaedics, practicing alongside Dr. Eric Lukosius. She has been a physician assistant for over 10 years and has specialized in foot and ankle orthopaedics since 2019. Initially trained at Duke University Health System, she worked alongside and was trained by some of the top leaders in the field.
She enjoys the complexity and biomechanics of foot and ankle conditions, and is experienced in traumatic injuries/fractures, sports injuries, dance/ballet, arthritis management, flat feet including progressive collapsing foot deformity, congenital defects, deformities, etc.
Rachel received her undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University, where she served as Class President. She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Rachel spends her free time with her family, enjoying adventures with her twin daughters and husband.
