Elizabeth J. McDowell has been a physician assistant at Cary Orthopaedics since 2007. She attended Wake Forest University for undergrad and the Duke University Physician Assistant Program for a degree in graduate health sciences.

Since 2007, McDowell has had her PA National Certification and licensed in North Carolina. She is also an advanced cardiac life support provider and a basic life support provider.

Currently, McDowell is part of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Triangle Area Physician Assistants.
