Chelsea L. Fletcher, MSPAS, PA-C

Total Joint Replacement | Hip | Knee

Chelsea L. Fletcher, MSPAS, PA-C, joined UNC-Cary Orthopaedics in 2024 as an assistant to Dr. Economedes for joint replacement procedures. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then attended Shenandoah University, graduating with honors in 2008 from the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program.

After a short stint in primary care and cardiology, Fletcher found orthopaedics to be her true passion. Helping patients with injuries and chronic pain has been immensely rewarding to her. She has more than a decade of experience in orthopedic care, previously specializing in sports medicine, general orthopaedics and fracture reduction and management.

When not enjoying time with patients, she can often be found on the sidelines of the soccer field, running to martial arts practice or dance with her three kids.
